An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on March 9, 2020, between the hours of 11:45 am and 2:30 pm, to review the supplemental health and safety requirements. Fifty-three children were enrolled and ten children were present, with three staff, on this date. Six children's records and five staff records were reviewed. Two children's medications and documentation were reviewed. Bathroom procedures, hand washing, lunch (provided by parents), transitions, reading, watching a book on the computer, singing, and nap time were observed during this visit.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined covered all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that were not covered in the licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were cited during this inspection.
