This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documentation review, interview and a virtual tour of the program.
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated on 10/21/2021 and concluded on 10/21/2021. There were 0 children present. A code compliance inspection was also conducted on this date.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-180-2-a-2 Description: Based on record review, the provider did not ensure to have documentation of current central registry results.
Evidence:
The record of caregiver #1 had documentation of central registry results dated 8/13/2016. Central Registry background checks should be conducted every 5 years.Plan of Correction: I will send it off on the 3rd of November.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-230-E-1 Description: Based on record review, the center did not ensure to maintain a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence:
The provider did not have a current certification in CPR. The provider's CPR certification expired 6/20/2021.Plan of Correction: I talked to the trainer and they will call me Friday to schedule the class.
