63.2(17) License & Registration Procedures

Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. There were 37 children in care being supervised by 4 staff members. The children were observed participating in outdoor play and cooperative games. Lunch served today is pizza, corn, oranges, and milk. Eight children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Six staff members were reviewed and in compliance. Three agent records were reviewed. There are reportedly no medications being administered to children in the facility at this time. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 04/16/2019 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 03/18/2019. Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-A
Description: Based on review of three agent records it was determined that not all agents obtained results of a central registry check every five years. Evidence: The most recent CPS check for Agent A was dated 04/26/2013 and the most recent central registry check for Agent B is dated 04/23/2013.

Plan of Correction: Administration called to inquire the whereabouts of the results of the central registry check for Agent A and Agent B during the inspection.
