We reviewed the requirements for cleaning supply closets, documentation of initial parent notice for minor injuries, medication, resilient surfacing, and diaper disposal container access. As a reminder, staff need to position themselves to areas of the playground where active play on equipment is occurring.

Thank you for your assistance during today's unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 10:25 AM to 3:15 PM. Today, there were fifty-eight children, ages infancy through five years, with thirteen staff. I viewed program activities, equipment, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, diapering procedures, diaper ointment, sunscreen, infant care and records, formula, daily routines, menu, nutrition, agency inspection reports, insurance, injury records, medication, emergency supplies and drill records, six records for children, six staff records, staff qualifications, staff training, indoor and outdoor areas. The children have enjoyed a variety of age appropriate toys, equipment and planned group activities. This week, the theme for activities has been "pets". Regular outside experiences have been offered, weather permitting. The teachers have participated in regular training opportunities.
