The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection Wednesday, June 6, 2019 from 10:51am to 2:11pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed engaged in a variety of activities. All classrooms as well as the center's playground were inspected today. The center's three mini buses were also inspected. Ten children's records and ten employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is administered and was reviewed. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last Evacuation Drill: 05/15/2019 Last Shelter in Place Drills: 09/12/2018 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infants -11:3 Older Infants (Zebras)-8:3 Toddlers (Elephants)-14:3 Twos (Flamingos)-14:3 Twos (Lions)-15:2 Threes (Ostriches)-20:2 Threes (Chimps)-20:2 Fours (Crocs)-20:2 Pre-K I (Gazzelles)- 19:2 Pre-K II (Rhinos)-19:2 Kindergarten-10:1 School Age-not present A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
