Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on 07/10/2019 from 11:04am to 2:30pm. The children were observed participating in archery, playing games, swimming and eating lunch. A formal observation was completed with the school age students. The afternoon snack menu was posted. Interviews were held with staff throughout the inspection, and the inspector interacted with children when appropriate. Ten children?s records were reviewed during this inspection. The staff records are kept off site and will be reviewed on a later date. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure that medication was kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: There were three camp counselors with medication located in their backpacks. The medication was not kept locked using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Plan of Correction: Little locks will be picked up today to put on counselors backpacks until we can get locked bags ordered.
