A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 07/10/2019 from 11:04am to 2:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed participating in archery, playing games, swimming and eating lunch. A formal observation was completed with the school age students. The afternoon snack menu was posted. Interviews were held with staff throughout the inspection, and the inspector interacted with children when appropriate. Ten children?s records were reviewed during this inspection. The staff records are kept off site and will be reviewed on a later date. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 06/14/2019 Last shelter-in-place drill: 06/14/2019 Last fire inspection: 01/15/2019 Last health inspection:11/20/2018 Last lockdown drill: 06/14/2019 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: School Age - 127:5 A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
