We reviewed documentation of the description of minor injuries for the records.

Thank you for your assistance during the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 10:03 AM to 03:40 PM. Today, there were fifty-six children, ages infancy through five years, with ten to eleven staff. I viewed program activities, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, daily routines, diapering procedures, lunch, nutrition, food allergy procedures, equipment, infant care and records, sunscreen, diaper ointment, medication, posted information, insurance, injury records, parent communication procedures, emergency supplies and drill records, six records for children, six staff records, staff qualifications, staff training, indoor and outdoor areas. Recently, new wooden borders were installed at the base of the chain link fencing. Also, additional pea gravel was placed on the playground. The children were provided a variety of play options in each age grouping. Teachers read books to the children and facilitated discussions. Activities for preschool age children were planned according to the weekly theme such as pirates. There were organized systems in place for keeping records and storing needed items for access by teachers. No violations with licensing standards observed at this time.
