The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from approximately 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The following ratios were observed with a total of 76 children present during the inspection: Pre-K Silver - 16 children with 2 staff Juniors - 19 children with 2 staff Middles- 28 children with 2 staff Seniors - 13 children with 2 staff The children and staff were engaged in a variety of activities while the licensing inspector was on the premises. Children were observed playing music trivia, playing games in the gym, creating Harry Potter wands, preparing for a field trip, taking bathroom breaks and washing their hands and eating lunch. Lunch consisted of baked chicken, broccoli, blueberries and milk. All areas of the center including classrooms, hallways, kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor play areas were inspected. The center was equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children. The following information was reviewed: injury reports, injury prevention plan, daily attendance, practiced emergency drill logs, liability insurance policy, parent agreements, staff training information, required postings and menu. The center?s first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. The buses and transportation documents were reviewed. During the inspection, seven children's and seven staff records were reviewed.
