An announced inspection was conducted on September 3, 2019 from approximately 10:00 am until 11:45 am at the request of the licencee regarding new designated program space (Pre K-3 room, Pre K 4 room and gymnasium). Physical plant, required posting, emergency supplies/equipment and program supplies were reviewed. The licensee also requested a change in capacity. The results of the inspection will be reviewed with the Licensing Administrator for license issuance.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-C Description: Based on observation and staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure that emergency evacuation and shelter- in-place procedures/maps were posted in a location conspicuous to staff and children on each floor of each building.
Evidence: There were not emergency evacuation and shelter- in-place procedure posted and the emergency/evacuation map did not include a shelter-in-place location.Plan of Correction: The center administrative assistant will ensure the map is updated and procedures are posted today.
