Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on September 27, 2019 from approximately 7:20am-8:45am to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
Three staff were present with 21 children at the onset of inspection. Additional children arrived during inspection. Five children's were reviewed. Three medications were reviewed.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements found and they are identified on the Violation Notice.

Description: Based on documentation and staff interview, the vendor did not ensure that lockdown procedures shall be practiced annually.

Evidence: The Recreation Site Supervisor confirmed that there was no documentation of a lockdown drill practiced in 2018.

Plan of Correction: The site supervisor will ensure an annual lockdown drill is practiced and logged .
