Standard #: 22VAC40-665-740-B-6 Description: Based on observations, the center did not ensure that diapers were disposed in a storage system that is either foot-operated or used in such a way that neither the staff member's hand nor the soiled diaper touches an exterior surface of the storage system during disposal.

1. The disposal system for diapers in the Infant room requires the staff to use their hands to touch the exterior surface.Plan of Correction: A foot operated trash can will be placed in the room for diaper disposal.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-D Description: Based on file review, 4 out of 5 staff records do not have a completed search of the central registry (SCR) in any state they have lived in within the past 5 years.

1. Staff #2-5 do not have a completed SCR for the state of Virginia.
2. Staff #2 does not have a completed SCR for North Carolina.
3. Staff #5 does not have a completed SCR for Washington DCPlan of Correction: These background checks were sent, but there was no documentation of a follow-up within 30 days. A follow-ip was completed on Monday, 10/21. However, since the agency stated that they did not have these requests, the administrators will submit these again.
