A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Monday, October 28, 2019 between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The licensing inspector observed 20 children being supervised by 3 staff including the site supervisor. During this inspection, the children were observed by the licensing inspector completing a variety of activities to eating snack in the cafeteria, completing bathroom breaks, participating in indoor activities, and interacting with peers and staff. The children's dinner snack for today consisted of chicken nuggets, green beans, apple sauce, fruit cup, and milk. During this inspection, the licensing inspector also completed observations of the during parent pick up. The following information was reviewed: emergency supplies, menu, fire and shelter-in-place drill. Medication is being administered, medications, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were five children?s records and the three staff's emergency contacts and required certificates of completion were reviewed during this inspection. There were no violations cited during this inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
