An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:45am to 1:45pm with the Director. There were 74 children in care, ranging from five months to five years of age, supervised by 14 staff. The children were observed reading books, doing a learning activity about pumpkins and apples, preparing for lunch, washing hands, preparing for nap, and napping. Nine children?s records and five staff records were reviewed. The Center has adequate staff certified in CPR, First Aid, and Daily Health Observation. Nine medications and authorization forms for four children were reviewed and the center has four staff current in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed. The last evacuation drill was conducted 10/4/19 and the last shelter-in-place drill was conducted 5/23/19.
