An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:40am to 11:00am. There were 32 children in care ranging from two months to five years of age supervised by seven staff. The children were observed in free play, coming in from the playground and washing hands, and reading a book about shapes while preparing for snack. Five children?s files and four staff files were reviewed. The Center has adequate staff certified in CPR, First Aid, and Daily Health Observation. There are reportedly no medications at the center at this time but there are three staff who are current in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery operated radio were observed. The most recent Fire Inspection was conducted 3/14/19 and the most recent Health Inspection was conducted 2/13/19.
