An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 7:00am to 8:30am with program staff. There were eight children in care at the beginning of the inspection ranging from five to ten years of age supervised by two staff. More children and another staff arrived throughout the inspection. The children were observed reading books, watching a children's program, doing a lesson about behavior, dancing, and playing a group fitness game. Five children?s files were reviewed. Two staff files were reviewed off site at the Ron Rosner Central office previously and are a separate inspection. Today a review of required on-site staff documentation was conducted for adequate staff certified in CPR, First Aid, and Daily Health Observation. Two medications and authorization forms for one child were reviewed and the center has a Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified staff. The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed and were in compliance. The first aid kit was observed and was in compliance.
