Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 between 10:50 am to 12:30 pm to determine the program's compliance with licensing standards. During this inspection, there were 16 children in care with 2 staff present. The licensing inspector observed the children in care participating in a variety of activities to include eating snack at the table, completing bathroom break and handwashing, participating in circle time, working on breathing technique, viewing holiday pictures of peers sildeshow on the carpet, and transitioning to outdoor playground area.. The children's snack consisted of apple slices and goldfish crackers. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, posted emergency contacts, emergency drills, menu, required postings were reviewed by the inspector. During this inspection, there were five children's records and two staff records reviewed. The program's bathroom, classroom area, and equipment were inspected. Medication is being administered, one medication, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were no violations cited during this inspection.
