A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/14/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-B Description: Based on record review, the center failed to ensure that within the first 90 days of employment all staff who work directly with children completed Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.
Evidence:
1. The required training as stated above was not completed for staff #5 who had a documented hire date of 9/4/19.Plan of Correction: The child care director will remind staff to complete the training or staff will not be allowed to work.
