An unannounced inspection was conducted today at 10 AM. The Vendor has not watched any children for last 4 weeks due to medical leave. The Vendor is not sure when she can start again but has to see Doctor to obtain okay. Records were available for the two children that were enrolled and Inspector gave consultation on completing files in the event they return. Please call with questions 703-479-4679

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B Description: Based on record review and interview, it was determined the vendor did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: 1. The Vendor stated she has not watched children for 4 weeks because of medical issue. 2. Attendance for the last 6 months not taken. 3. Vendor stated she only had 2 children enrolled before the medical leave. Plan of Correction: When we start again, we will take it.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-A-1 Description: Based on interview and record review it was determined the Vendor has not practiced monthly evacuation drills in 2019. Evidence: 1. Vendor said she has not done them and records show last drill was in December. Plan of Correction: I have not been feeling well and surgery was needed. Now, I will do them when I get kids back in care.
