Technical Assistance:
Provided consultation on:
1) standard 22 VAC 40-185-160B: Acceptable forms of documentation of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening are 1. A clearance statement signed by a physician, the physician?s designee or an official of the local health department; 2. The results of a negative tuberculin skin test (TST); or 3. The results of a chest x-ray negative for tuberculosis disease.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:15 am - 12:15 pm with the youth director. There were 18 children, ranging from three years to five years of age, supervised by four staff and one volunteer. Children were observed participating in circle time activities, washing hands and using the restroom after snack, which is brought from home. Four children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. There was no medication to review. The last documented fire drill was conducted: 2/3/2020 and the last shelter-in-place drill was conducted: 1/16/2020.
