An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today.
Twelve children were present with two classroom staff, a cook and a volunteer.
The children were having rest time and eating a snack.
Files for five children were reviewed.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-B Description: Based on observation the facility failed to ensure that the diapering surface is cleaned and sanitized after each use.
Evidence:
1. After a diaper change the mat was wiped with a Clorox wipe.Plan of Correction: The site administrator will ensure that the staff members are retrained to clean and sanitize the diapering area after each diaper change.
