A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Thursday, February 6, 2020 between 8:00 am to 9:30 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The licensing inspector observed 21 children being supervised by 3 staff including the site supervisor. During this inspection, the children were observed by the licensing inspector completing a variety of activities to include engaging in active play in various center activities, completing bathroom break, participating in circle time interactive activities, and transitioning for school. During this inspection, the licensing inspector also completed observations of parent drop off. The following information was reviewed: emergency supplies, menu, fire and shelter-in-place drill. Medication is being administered, medications, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were five children?s records and the three staff's emergency contacts and required certificates of completion were reviewed during this inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
