Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure that all hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, insecticides, and pesticides shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence:
1. In classroom #1, four bottles of Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol labeled "Keep out of reach of children" and "Flammable" and one bottle of Sanitize Germicidal Solution labeled "Hazard to humans and domestic animals,? ?Caution? and "Keep out of reach of children" were unlocked on a top shelf accessible to the children.
2. In classroom #2, one can Lysol Disinfectant Spray labeled ?Flammable," "Keep out of reach of children," "Hazard to humans and domestic animals? was unlocked on a bottom shelf accessible to children.
3. In classroom #2, one can Rust-oleum spray can labeled ?Danger,? ?Extremely Flammable,? ?Vapor Harmful? and "Keep out of reach of children" were unlocked on a top shelf accessible to children.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
