A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on February 5, 2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The on-site inspection was from 9:30 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. On this date, there were 40 children present in five classrooms and in the care of eight staff members. There was one additional staff member available to assist if needed. There were 83 children enrolled in the center. Five staff members' records and five children's records were reviewed. Five classrooms were toured and observations were made in two of those rooms. Eight staff members and five children were interviewed. The medication and medication authorizations were reviewed for one child.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
