An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspector arrived at 10:10am and concluded the inspection at approximately 1:00pm. The center's director and administrative staff were present and assisted the inspector throughout the inspection. The census for today's inspection consisted of 117 children in the direct care of 28 staff members. Upon arrival, the children were engaged in a variety of activities. Each classroom was inspected and formal observations were completed throughout. The center is equipped with age and stage appropriate materials and equipment for the children's use. All areas where the children receive care, inside and outside, were inspected. The center had the following posted: license, daily schedules, emergency numbers, evacuation maps, menu, and various parent information. The building where the school age children receive car was inspection though the children were not present during the inspection. The center?s first aid kit and non-emergency supplies were inspected in both buildings and found complete. Medication is administered and five medications and authorizations were reviewed. Ten children's records and ten staff records were reviewed today. The most recent evacuation drill was documented on 02/04/20. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented on 01/15/20.
