Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on Friday, January 10, 2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived at 1:58 PM and concluded the inspection at 5:45 PM. The census for today's inspection consisted of 82 children. During the inspection, children were napping, playing with musical instruments, reading, playing with blocks, taking bathroom breaks, washing hands and eating snack. Children's equipment, learning materials, indoor and outdoor space, restrooms, first aid kit and the nonmedical emergency supplies were reviewed. Medication is administered and medication, authorization forms and allergy plans were reviewed. Seven children's records and seven staff records, annual fire and health inspections, fire drill, lockdown drill and shelter in place drill logs, daily attendance and all required postings were reviewed.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
