This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/18/20 and concluded on 9/21/20. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 22 children present immediately supervised by two staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed three children?s records and three staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on review of three children's records, the center did not obtain documentation of all required items for each child. Evidence: 1. The record for Child A did not contain documentation of the father's home address, place of employment, or work phone number. 2. The record for Child B did not contain documentation of the work phone number for the mother or the father. 3. The record for Child C did not contain documentation of the work phone number for the mother. Plan of Correction: I will be contacting the parents to get the missing info in their files.
