This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 10/02/2020 and concluded on 10/07/2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 6 children and 2 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed 2 children's records and 2 staff records during the inspection to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review and discussion with the staff, the facility failed to ensure that the separate record for each child enrolled shall contain all of the elements as required by the standards.
Evidence: The record for Child #2 did not contain the name, address, and phone number of two designated people to call in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached; the address was incomplete.Plan of Correction: The Program Administrator will communicate to the Family Advocate Manager and they will gt the information to complete the record.
