This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was completed on October 26, 2020. The provider was contacted by telephone (video call) to initiate the inspection. There were 115 children present in 11 classrooms and in the care of 19 staff members. The inspector conducted a virtual inspection of the facility and was able to view all required documentation. Five children?s records and the medications for four children were reviewed. The complete records for five staff members were reviewed along with the background checks for four additional staff members.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. The Licensing Inspector reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
