The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care Programs.
All background checks need to be submitted within 10 days.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. T renewal inspection was initiated on February 24, 2021 and concluded on February 26, 2021. The in charge person was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 45 children and 7 staff members. The inspector emailed the person in charge a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 4 children's records and 5 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice. Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-4 Description: Based on a review of staff records, the center failed to obtain an out-of-state Child Abuse and Neglect or an out-of-state Sex Offender background check by the 30 day of employment. First date of employment 08/17/2020.
