Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A subsidy health and safety inspection was initiated on 4/13/2021 and concluded on 4/13/2021. The in-charge person was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present and no staff. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with subsidy regulations, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-11
Description: Based on a review of two children's records, the facility did not ensure that one record contained a physician's written allergy care plan for a diagnosed food allergy. Evidence: The licensing inspector observed the record for Child #2 contained documentation of a diagnosed food allergy but did not contain an allergy care plan.

Plan of Correction: Administration will speak to parents and update the child's record.
