This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on May 21, 2021. The center was contacted by telephone to initiate the virtual inspection. There were 23 children in care ranging in age from three through four years old, with four staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed three children?s records by the director to ensure documentation was complete. Background checks for all board members will be reviewed as a part of the renewal process.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
