A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on October 11, 2022. There was one household member child present with the caregiver. A monitoring inspection was also conducted on this date. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-400-H Description: Based on observation, provider did not ensure medication shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: Household medication was stored in an unlocked upper cabinet beside the refrigerator in the kitchen.Plan of Correction: A lock will be placed on the cabinet to make sure medication is kept locked.
