Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. There were 17 (infants-3 yrs.) directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, children?s records, medications info, evacuation drills, emergency procedures, and policies were inspected. Children were observed waking from nap, going to the bathroom, and preparing for departure. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children and the center was clean. The staff records documented all staff with current certification in CPR and First Aid, as well as several with MAT. The 10 hour Health and Safety training requirement was also met and training binder was available to review. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance as well. An areas of non-compliance was identified in this report. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector. Cindy Ford 703-479-4679

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-820-120-E-2
Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the most recent findings of the last inspection were not posted in an area for public view.
Evidence:
1. Inspector looked at all the documents posted and was unable to find the most recent inspection.
2. The Director was looking for it, was sure it had been posted, but could not locate.

Plan of Correction: I found it as it had fallen behand and was stuck behind a bin and car seat in that area. We will ensure it stays up.
