A monitoring inspection was initiated on 04/06/2022 and concluded on 04/07/2022. The director was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. There were 7 children present and 1 staff. There was a backup person available is necessary. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 1 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-245-J-3 Description: Based on record review of children's and staff's records the center failed to ensure that a staff member who meets the MAT training requirements of the standard was present for any child that has an emergency medication.
Evidence:
1. Child # 1 has an emergency medication prescribed and on site; Staff # 1 did not have a MAT training. She is in the process of obtaining the training, the online portion has been completed.Plan of Correction: The director and staff will work to complete the remaining portion of the MAT training.
