Technical assistance was provided regarding tuberculosis screening/testing for staff. Standard 160 requires that each staff submit a negative tuberculosis screening or test at the time of employment and prior to coming into contact with children. The screening or test must have been completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment.
- Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:55am-2:00pm. There were 70 children directly supervised by 12 staff and all classrooms were in ratio. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, menus, 7 staff records, 10 children?s records, 9 medications, emergency drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed eating lunch, transitioning from lunch to naptime, coloring, and building with blocks. Infant care including feeding was also observed. Positive interactions between children and staff were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. No violations were found during today's inspection.
