An announced initial inspection was conducted from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm with management staff and the center director. No children were present during this inspection. A qualified director is in place and was present during the inspection. All 8 classrooms were observed and measured for capacity. The center is well-equipped with age and stage appropriate furnishings, equipment, and materials. The 12 cribs meet Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) federal safety standards for cribs (manufactured 2012). One staff record was reviewed and in compliance. The center's policies and procedures and emergency supplies were inspected and determined to be complete. The center has a current fire inspection, health inspection, liability insurance, and certificate of occupancy. The outdoor area was observed, and the playgrounds are currently under construction. Areas under construction and/or with equipment are to remain off limits until complete, and inspected by licensing.
