A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 5/11/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 28 children were present with 5 caregivers. The children were observed participating in center play, building with blocks, preparing to plant flower seeds, learning about he month of May, dancing and singing along with an educational song, making flowers in arts and crafts, and coloring while learning about the letter "I". Programming, emergency procedures, and 5 children?s records and 2 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
