Comments:
An unannounced inspection was conducted on September 22, 2022 between the hours of 10:50 am and 12:45 pm to investigate a self-reported incident. There were 55 children present with 11 staff supervising. Children were observed at various age-appropriate learning activities, eating lunch, story time, and preparing for rest time. Positive interaction between children and staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, children and staff files, programming, medication, playground, special care, fire drill logs, attendance records, first aid kit, emergency procedures, and required posting documents.

Information gathered during the inspection, not related to the self-reported incident, determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. You may contact Sheila.nelson@doe.virginia.gov regarding any questions to this inspection.

Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection.
