An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director on October 20, 2022 beginning at 2:20 PM and ending at 3:00 PM. There were no children in the care during the inspection.. No children?s records were reviewed. Two staff records were reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. The most recent health inspection was dated 3/14/2022. The most recent fire inspection was dated 7/28/2021.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-2 Description: Based on a staff record review, not all of the staff had documentation of a fingerprint background check. Evidence: Staff A (start date 7/15/22) and staff B (start date 9/6/22) did not have documentation of a fingerprint background check in their records during the inspection. Plan of Correction: The facility will have the staff complete the fingerprinting background checks and place the results in their records.
Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2 Description: Based on a staff record review, not all of the staff had documentation of central registry finding within 30 days of employment or volunteer service. Evidence: Staff A (start date 7/5/22) and staff B (start date 9/6/22) did not have documentation of a central registry fining in their records during the inspection. Plan of Correction: The facility will request the central registry background check and place the results in their records upon receipt.
