8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.

A subsidy inspection was initiated on 12/13/2022 and completed on 12/28/2022. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection, the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or law. Violations were issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on record review, the center failed to maintain a current CPR certificate for each staff member within the first 90 days.
Evidence: Staff #2, which was hired on 03/16/2022, had no record of an CPR certificate during the inspection on 12/13/2022.Plan of Correction: CPR class scheduled in February.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-2 Description: Based on record review, the center failed to maintain a current First Aid certificate for each staff member within the first 90 days.
Evidence: Staff #2, which was hired on 03/16/2022, had no record of an First Aid certificate during the inspection on 12/13/2022.Plan of Correction: First Aid class scheduled in February.
