8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/11/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 8:30am and ended at 11:15am. There were 15 staff with 79 children in 9 classrooms at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed being dropped off by their parents, washing hands, eating breakfast (oatmeal, peaches and milk), playing with blocks and other organized activities. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. A sample of 5 medications and authorizations were reviewed today. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
