Licensing Inspector gave provider the following information:
1. Information on Hyland Portal and CPS Portal
2. Orientation checklist for the updated standards
3. Drill record for evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown drill
- Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted. At the time of the inspection, there were 34 children (ages two-through five) in care with four staff. Children were observed having circle time and playing in centers. The sample size was three children and three staff records.
- Violations:

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-70 Description: Based on review of three staff records, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that three references related to care and reputation are checked prior to employment.
Evidence:
The record for staff #3 (date of hire 6/2722) did not have documentation of references being checked.Plan of Correction: References will be checked and documented for staff member. In the future, references will be checked for all employees begin work
