A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on January 26, 2023. There were 10 children present with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observations and photographs, the center did not ensure all hazardous substances are kept in a locked place using a safe locking methods that prevents access by children.
Evidence: During the inspection on January 26, 2023, there was observation in the bathroom area of sanitizing spray and air freshener with the labels "keep out of reach of children," "caution" and
warning" on top of a shelf.
Photographs taken by the inspector of the two bottles of sanitizing spray and air freshener observed.Plan of Correction: The center immediately removed all hazardous substances and stored the items in a locked cabinet.
