An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director on February 2, 2023 beginning at 11:43AM and ending at 12:49PM. There were 26 children, ages between 3 through 5 years old, in the care of 5 direct care staff. The children were observed playing, being read a story, and practicing numbers and colors in Spanish. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Five children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed and in compliance. The menu, daily attendance, and emergency drill log were reviewed. The most recent evacuation drill was documented as 1/10/23. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 1/18/23. The fire and health inspections were reviewed and in compliance.
