A renewal inspection was completed on 02/02/23. There were 30 children in care children present with 5 staff supervising. The cook was also present, and the family service worker was present at the beginning of the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records were reviewed at the center and five staff records were reviewed virtually. The inspection started at 10:15am and ended at 11:45pm.
The inspector discussed with the center director and the head start health and safety coordinator the need for close supervision and/or extra safety procedures of the gate that people go through to get to the center from the parking lot which is very close to the road.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
