Comments:
An in-person mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on February 23, 2023 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm. There were 22 children in care with 5 staff supervising. Children were observed waking up from nap, playing quietly, washing hands and using the bathroom. Teachers were observed helping the children wake up and use the bathroom. Once the children were up from nap, the staff transitioned to having snacks. Snacks today were milk, crackers and cucumbers. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact Leah Pagala at 703-537-6757 or leah.pagala@doe.virgina.gov
