An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 4/5/23 from 5:25pm to 5:55pm with program staff. There were two children in care, supervised by two staff. Children were observed having free play with staff. Required postings were observed. The attendance, allergy list, and emergency drill log were reviewed. Two child records were reviewed. A review of required on-site documentation was conducted for staff certified in CPR/First Aid, Daily Health Observation Training, and Medication Administration Training (MAT). Off-site staff records were reviewed at the Ron Rosner office on 3/23/23. Staff reported there was no medication on-site but the center has staff with current certification in Allergy & Anaphylaxis Medication Administration Training (AMAT).. Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2 Description: Based on review of two staff records, the program did not obtain the results of a search of the central registry for one staff within 30 days of employment. Evidence: The central registry results on record for Staff #1, with an employment date of 7/5/22, were dated 9/5/22. Plan of Correction: We will ensure results are received within 30 days moving forward, or maintain documentation of follow-up if results are not received within 30 days.
