8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations.

Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted today between 8:15am and 10:30am. There were 55 children present with 14 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1
Description: Based on review of staff records, current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was not available for review for all staff within 90 days of first day of employment.
Evidence
Staff #1 (date of hire 11/2022) does not a current certification of CPR in their record for review.

Plan of Correction: A CPR class is scheduled for Friday, April 21, 2023.
