A subsidy inspection was conducted on 04/21/2023. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-B Description: Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure that within the first 90 days of employment all staff who work directly with children shall complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.
Evidence:
The owner, Staff #2, hired 01/17/2023 and Staff #3, hired 11/21/2022 did not have documentation of having completed the 10 hour of the 3 hour update Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
